Tower Rush vs MegaBlock: are they the same game?

Both games ask you to stack a tower and decide when to cash out. Tower Rush is Galaxsys's 2024 game; MegaBlock is a separate InOut Games release from 2026. Here are the screens and features that tell them apart.

Short answer: no

MegaBlock is InOut's tower-building lookalike. It shares the stack-and-cashout rhythm, but it is not a Galaxsys game. The differences show up in the controls and bonuses below.

Look at the actual game screens

The first image is a Tower Rush gameplay capture from towerrash.com. The second is a game image published on InOut's MegaBlock page. Each shows a suspended floor, a growing multiplier and a cashout decision; the controls and artwork are plainly different.

The shared tower shape is the starting point. The provider, release, choices on screen and named features separate the games.

What a round has in common

A floor moves above a tower. You choose when to place it. If the build succeeds, the displayed multiplier rises; you can stop and collect the current result or try another floor. That simple loop is why the games can look alike in a thumbnail or a short clip.

The details matter once you play. Galaxsys describes Tower Rush winnings as the stake multiplied by cumulative odds from successful floors. InOut's MegaBlock page puts difficulty selection next to the growing multiplier and the decision to lock in a result. A screenshot of one game cannot be used as a rules screen for the other.

Tower Rush: three named bonus floors

Galaxsys lists Frozen Floor, Temple Floor and Triple Build for the original Tower Rush. These are part of its published game description, not casino welcome offers.

Frozen Floor

A protection-style bonus floor in Tower Rush. Our captured screen shows the Frozen Floor label beside a ×2 result. The screenshot records that round's displayed value; it does not set a fixed payout for the feature.

Temple Floor

The third bonus-floor name on Galaxsys's game page. Its effect belongs to Tower Rush's bonus set; the provider's public overview does not give a universal multiplier for it.

Triple Build

Galaxsys names this as another bonus floor, and the feature title appears in our original-game capture. The name also appears in the Tower Rush 2 announcement, but that is a different game.

MegaBlock: difficulty before the next drop

MegaBlock's own screen puts a difficulty choice beside the stake and Go button. That setting changes the ladder you climb. InOut describes the rhythm as choosing a difficulty, watching the multiplier rise and deciding when to lock in the result. This is a real point of difference from Tower Rush's published list of three named bonus floors.

MegaBlock may resemble Tower Rush, but InOut does not call its features Frozen Floor, Temple Floor or Triple Build on the original MegaBlock page. Do not mistake a MegaBlock screenshot for evidence that those Galaxsys features are present there.

Where the buy-in feature fits: MegaBlock Empire

There is a naming trap here. InOut also released MegaBlock Empire on 8 September 2026. Its own provider page describes four Bonus Buy options that open Free Spins at different volatility levels. That is a paid shortcut into a bonus mode, distinct from choosing a normal stake before a MegaBlock round.

If a casino card says only 'MegaBlock', check the exact title inside the game before describing Bonus Buy. The buy-in feature in InOut's published material is attached to MegaBlock Empire. Neither of these InOut titles is Tower Rush or Tower Rush 2 by Galaxsys.

Quick questions

Is MegaBlock the same as Tower Rush?

No. The studios and release dates differ. Both use a tower, a rising multiplier and a cashout choice, but Tower Rush has three named bonus floors while MegaBlock presents a difficulty selector.

Is MegaBlock a Tower Rush clone?

In everyday language, it is a lookalike: stack a tower, grow the multiplier, cash out. It is still a separate InOut release, with its own rules and controls.

Does MegaBlock have Frozen Floor or Triple Build?

Those are the names Galaxsys publishes for Tower Rush. InOut's original MegaBlock page does not list them. MegaBlock Empire has its own Bonus Buy feature.

Which MegaBlock has Bonus Buy?

InOut describes four Bonus Buy options for MegaBlock Empire, released in September 2026. Its February 2026 MegaBlock page describes the tower, difficulty and cashout instead.
